NMAT 2008 had total 150 questions.The section wise split was - Quantitative Ability: 60, Logical Reasoning: 50 and Language Skills: 40. The paper this year was similar to last year's paper.

The questions in this section ranged from Arithmetic, Bar Diagram , Data sufficiency,DI , Series and Simplification. This section primarily checked one's ability to do fast calculation. Almost all the questions required calculations.

Logical Reasoning questions were easy to moderate level of difficulty. Variety of questions on sequence and symbols were present.

RC contained easy to moderate passages connecting the Gandhian thought of perseverance and India's growth. The section had an overall easy to moderate level of difficulty.
