Eligibility And Selection : Executives who have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline and are 27 or above at the start of the programme may apply. For other participants , A bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 7 years of professional experience, and proven proficiency in English. The Post-graduate Programme in Management is a flagship educational programme preparing the young graduates for senior level positions in industry and other sections. The programme is of two years duration. The programme lays great emphasis on knowledge assimilation than only imparting it. Towards this it uses a wide variety of pedagogies: lectures, case studies, exercises, role-plays, simulation, video shows etc.In the first year, the students undergo 58 credit foundation courses in various functional areas, followed by 8-10 weeks of summer training in business and industrial organisations. The prime objective of the programme centers on creating competence in teaching and research in management education, and practice. Admission: While candidates are encouraged to submit test scores from Common Admission Test (CAT) of IIMs or GMAT / GRE / GATE or UGC / CSIR - JRF (Research), candidates without any test scores may also apply. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview (including a written component testing research aptitude) at Indore. Selection will be based on test scores from CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF (wherever applicable), performance in the interview, and other criteria. Eligibility: A Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Persons with Disability (PWD) category], of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. In case the university/institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by the IIMs by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. The candidate should also have a minimum of 5 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience as on August 31, 2008 (for course starting in 2008). Work experience obtained only after graduation will be considered. Organizational sponsorship is optional. Selection:The selection would be based on performance in CAT/GMAT, personal interview, candidate's academic record, scholastic achievements, and relevant work experience after graduation.
